Happy New Year!

Hello everyone!
I wanted to say Happy New Year and thank you for visiting My Unico Fans over these past few months! The goal for next year is to continue uploading as much information as we can to the site and some other fun things along the way.

I also thought it’d be the perfect time to showcase a New Year’s postcard featuring our favorite unicorn!

Hallmark printed the postcard in 1977 with the image of Unico pulling the new day across the night sky like a curtain, symbolizing a new year. The Japanese text says Happy New Year (あけまして　おめでとうございます！/Akemashite Omedetou gozaimasu!).

To the right is an image of Hello Kitty and Mimmy from Lyrica magazine, which featured the postcard in a Sanrio merchandise spread.
