This section of the Merchandise Museum is for those wanting to learn more about the items released by Sanrio during the 70s and 80s. This page is great for those wanting to see what items were available or maybe even identify what you have.
This section has Sanrio merchandise organized by year. Not all items have a date, but many products have “1977” on them, and we believe this is simply the date Sanrio began the copyright for Unico. While we’re sure items were being produced in 1982, we’re not sure what, so many of the items in the 1981 section may have been released the next year.
