Welcome back to another site update!
I blinked and suddenly it was the end of September! Jeez! How did that happen?
The goal this month was to catch up on a bunch of drafts I had waiting for me on the site. This included international pages, translations, character pages, etc. A lot of stuff I started but did not finish. I’ll continue doing the same next month as well, but I also want to do something fun for October and Halloween again.
There were some awesome Unico updates this month. If you haven’t seen the cover for Unico: Kidnapped, the fourth volume of the series by Samuel Sattin and Gurihiru, you can find the post here. Of course, after I made the post, I worried I took away an official release announcement. Eek! I really enjoy promoting the new series to fans across the world and I know everyone is looking forward to learning more about the new volume. Hopefully we’ll start hearing more about it soon!
Before we roll into the updates, I wanted to shout out to Nolan’s World: Books, Toys & More on YouTube! He’s been uploading videos of himself reading aloud plenty of awesome books which include the Unico: Awakening series. His channel hit over 1,000 subscribers a few months ago and continues to grow. How exciting! Great job, Nolan! Keep reading and having fun!
– The cover for Unico: Kidnapped was released, so I’ve updated the Unico: Kidnapped page and other pages.
– Created the character section for Unico: Kidnapped on the Scholastic Manga Characters page. I didn’t want to add names to new characters just yet as I don’t know if anyone will be showcasing and making any announcements soon.
– Added the Spanish Manga Releases page to the International page. Looks like I forgot to link it when working on the page previously! Sorry about that!
– The translation for the Unico pages in Shonen Magazine is finally up. I debated on editing the images to have English text, but I remembered it’s easier for fans to read the translation on the actual page.
– Updated the links to the English Video Releases page for where to purchase the Unico Double Feature Blu ray. Crunchyroll Store has been removed as they no longer carry the Blu rays. MediaOCD now has it besides Amazon.
– Character profiles added for the following characters: Queen Titania, King Oberon, Rosaria, Spider, Hyoutan-tsugi
– Added Unico: Perdu, the Canadian French edition of Unico: Lost. This will be released April 20, 2027.
– Added the 1977 Osamu Tezuka Calendar to the Calendars page. The month with Unico is available. Many thanks to Tezuka Archive for the images!

– Added the other two Kenelephant Sofvi Unico figures to the Sofvi Unico page.
