Hello!
As this post goes live, there is only a week until the third volume, Unico: Lost, is released here on July 7. If you haven’t preordered it yet, you can do so on Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Scholastic, and many other book sellers. I’ll be waiting for my copy to arrive on release day so I can update the site and write up a review. Yay!

Next month, My Unico Fans will have its 5th anniversary, so I’m working on a special post. This is still a newer site compared to others, but I’m still so grateful to everyone who visits and finds the site useful. If there’s anything you’d like me to showcase or do, please feel free to reach out and let me know!
June’s updates will be a little short as I was buried in work and other family things. It’s crazy how fast a week will go by when you’re working on multiple projects. I do have to say that I love how fast other countries are getting their Unico releases. Some may be taking longer, but I hope they’ll still release each volume in their language.
Anway! Check out the handful of updates below and I’ll see you next month!
– Added the Animage May 1982 issue which features a small article with early concept art. The concept art has Cherry, Marusu, and Unico talking to a big mushroom and even Tolby kicking the adult obake that never appeared in Unico in the Island of Magic.
– Added Unico: L’Espoir, the French edition of Unico: Lost. It will be released on September 2, 2026.
– Added Unico. Smarrito, the Italian edition of Unico: Lost. It will be released on September 19, 2026.
– Added Único: La desaparición, the Spanish edition of Unico: Lost. I believe it will be released on November 6, 2026.
– Added Unico’s pages from the Dr. Pinoko’s Forest Adventure Picture Book as well as a translation. The new image was provided by Tezuka Archive. (Thank you!)
– Fixed a few of the images for the Unico Related Children’s Books pages. These pages were created in the site’s early days, so the images were quite small. I’ll be working on these pages in the near future to add more information about each book.
– Finally added an image for me on the About page. Took me long enough, right? Haha! I think it’s an okay image, but I may change it later. At least you know I’m a real person!
– Fixed a few links here and there on various pages.
