Happy Halloween!
Hope you had a wonderful October. It’s getting a little chilly where I live, so I’m pulling out all the warmer clothes. I’ll be living in hoodies until it’s warm again. (Laughs.) While I’m not a fan of the cold, I love making stews, soups, chili, and more to keep warm. Mmm, I’m making myself hungry while I write this.
Anyway!
I updated and added a few things to the site this month, but also tried to be a little more creative. If you’re curious, you can check out the Halloween post that’ll be up later today, which features some art and a short story by me. They’re all Unico and Halloween-related because I wanted to do something fun for the site. I normally don’t have time to create and share these kinds of things, so I hope it’ll be fun to some of you. The Unico Snoopy image on the side is a teaser…
It’s the holiday season, so as usual, I may be busier until the new year, but I’ll continue to update the site with any information or news. I don’t have a definite plan of what I’ll be updating on the site next month, so we’ll see what I can accomplish. Yay!

– Added the Manga Day 25 preview issue to the Unico erwacht page.
– Added the Contactoons Fan Club DVD set and Unico: Braccato to the Italian Language page.
– Updated the About page with information on Samuel Sattin and Gurihiru. Also added images for everyone except me because I need to take a more professional one when I don’t look half asleep. (Laughs.)
– Added a few chapters to the Unico First Grader Version Chapters page. All of 1980 and 1981 are now up. Added “I Want to Eat Cake” and “Ragon’s New Year.”
– Took down the Unico (2024) News Page links, which I created to make specific updates for the newer series during the Unico: Awakening Kickstarter and beginning stages. The Kickstarter is over, and the series is being published worldwide, so any news or updates for the series will appear on the main page from now on. I apologize if anyone was using this page for information or updates of any sort. I’ll keep it up for now as more of an archive, but it will no longer be updated. The page also links to a variety of other news and interview sources, so I’ll try to find a proper home for those and try to keep updated.
– Added the 1981 Sakura Color Manga Calendar to the Calendar section. Will add the other illustrations soon, but you can see the month that features Unico.
– Added the Tezuka Moderno message book to the Other Unico Related Publications. This was gifted to me by my wonderful friend, unicolove, and it’s a really cute book!
