Sakura Color (also known as Konica outside of Japan) was known for producing cameras, film, camera accessories, and much more. The Sakura Color calendars were published with a variety of well-known artists, featuring unique artwork made specifically for the calendar. Osamu Tezuka’s illustration in the 1981 Manga Calendar featured Unico.
