During the 90th Anniversary of Osamu Tezuka, an 18-issue magazine titled TEZU COMI ran from October 5, 2018 to March 5, 2020. The magazine included comics from Osamu Tezuka and several other artists in Japan. The magazine featured a section for overseas artists, and in the 11th issue, it published MIG’s comic “Catalante.” Catalante was published in other languages, including French, Spanish, and English. They published the other language versions after completing the magazine, but a Kickstarter funded the English version’s publication as two volumes.
Story:
West Wind leaves Unico on earth and ends up meeting a young girl named Zoe. She is suffering from a serious illness and is staying at the hospital with many other children. Despite being ill, Zoe’s love for the book series “Catalante” keeps her going. Her one wish it to read the end of the book series, but the author has not published a new book in quite some time. With his magic, Unico takes Zoe over to meet the author.
